Twenty-nine year old author
and photographer J. L.
Foster resides in middle
Tennessee with his
life-partner, two dogs, and
three cats. JL, who has
been penning tales since
the age of nine, is best
known for his gay
contemporary novels "The
Estranged Affair" and
"Straight" and for his
stories of horror, including
his "Shaded Whisperings"
series with Amira Press.

The greatest literary
influences in JL's life
include Walt Whitman,
Paulo Coelho, Poppy Z.
Brite, Robert Bloch, and Ira
Levin, to name a few.

Small town living has
agreed with JL, as some of
his favorite hobbies now
include gardening, walks
through town, and a stop in
the local coffeehouse,
Lulu's - where JL also
holds down a part time job.
He is also the instigator in
Lulu's new weekly Friday
Night Poetry Corner.
The long-awaited first installment to the trilogy has
