The death of Robert Brighton, owner of a small pharmaceutical research firm, sends his wife Marion and daughter Amanda, herself a
research scientist. But Robert had quite a secret life, or multiple secret lives, of which his employees and family members were unaware. The
death appears to be a heart attack, but diligent testing by his family doctor reveals traces of injection, identifying the death as murder.

In the midst of grief Amanda meets Chance Collins, a citrus grower, and their attraction is intense and mutual. Yet both persist in pulling
back emotionally, fearing commitment and potential rejection. Chance too had lost both parents in an auto accident, and empathises with
Amanda as he simultaneously finds himself falling in love with her.

Amanda’s realization that her father has been murdered coincides with the unraveling of revelations of his secret life, and she is determined
to discover the killer. The killer is equally determined to remain concealed, and murder attempts and murders follow in sequence.

Heidi Katros keeps the reader guessing on the identity of the killer as unexpected facts surface surrounding the victim. Amanda and
Chance, as well as the secondary characters, are realistic individuals. The reader can’t help cheering them on while groaning at their
sometimes inability to see what’s best for their relationship. Definitely a suspenseful mystery and thrilling romance, Click, Click, Delete will
keep the reader awake and racing through to the outstanding finish.
