In a dual delight of tales involving irrepressible Celtic Fae, Red, Debbie Mumford thrills hearts and
stimulates senses. Ms. Mumford skillfully combines sensuous settings with romantic threads and unshiftable love
to leave the reader with the feeling of being well-satisfied with the outcomes of these two short tales.

“The Ghost in the Glass” pits Red against accomplished interior designer Maureen McBride, whose trophy
stained glass acquired in Dublin is just the set-piece for Mark Davidson’s new home—a home Maureen intends to
rule as Mark’s new wife. Red views Maureen as a suitable stand-in for the Faery Summer Queen, against whom he
desires unattainable revenge. Red is trapped in the glass, but that doesn’t mean he can’t make contact with Sean
Flynn, a contractor, who derives his Second Sight from his Celtic mother. Red’s mind is on love and lust, and he’s
determined that Maureen and Sean experience both to the utmost.

In “Red’s Bower,” concert violinist Raymond O’Connor stops in at his cousin’s B&B for R&R before his Denver
appearance. His cousin owns the establishment, but is unexpectedly absent. Ray just wants peace and quiet away
from adoring fans; but he’s not expecting the odd paranormal events that occur when he insists on staying in the
room known as “Red’s Bower.” Swamped by an overpowering ocean swell of lust, he and friendly neighbor
Kathleen Mallory drop their defenses to get to know one another.
