Love Resurrected is a trying story of a duo of best friends and potential lovers, Andrew and Phillip, which soon becomes a trio with the
addition of Robert, and then a quartet with David’s arrival. Phillip is ridden by guilt, and this is probably his overwhelming emotion, coupled
with shame. He also lacks emotional depth and perception.

Andrew has long been in love with him, but Phillip never realizes it, until their single night together. Then Phillip’s guilt arises, and he drives
Andrew away to turn to Robert, whom he then drives away to turn to Andrew.

Phillip’s love life {and Andrew’s} resembles a revolving door, only without sexuality. In the meantime, Andrew manages a drunken fling he
doesn’t even remember with a waitress he neither knows nor remembers, even though he is thoroughly Gay; the result is conception. Andrew
first learns of this when the two-year-old child is given over to his custody at his wedding to another man.

Unfortunately none of the protagonists demonstrate any kind of emotional depth of character, and character development doesn’t exist. The
plotline is ragged, and not intriguing. The over-frequent use of exclamation points is very distracting, as is the frequent nomenclature of the
protagonists, who are known often as The Marnier,The Marshall, ad infinitum.
